Salary

• 35.00 to 45.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 37.5 hours per week

Tasks

• Analyze the patient during the treatments
• Operate ultrasound imaging equipment to produce and record images
• Supervise other specialized sonographers
• Supervise students in training
• Monitor examination to evaluate quality and consistency of diagnostic images, and make adjustments to equipment, as required
• Train students or other medical sonographers
• Record, store and process scanned images by using camera unit connected to the ultrasound equipment
• Prepare examination reports for physicians
• Check ultrasound equipment to ensure proper operation

• CRGS – Canadian Registered Generalist Sonographer
• CRCS – Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer
